Dressing Up is Fun

This must be my favorite skirt. It's already been featured on the blog a few times before:

This skirt is the perfect length, has pockets, and is a great color. The fabric is pretty sturdy as well, so you can expect many more remixes to come.
Blouse: Forever 21 (like, 5 years ago...)
Under shirt: Down East
Skirt: thrifted
Belt: thrifted
Shoes: Payless
Necklace: Icing's
This blouse is getting a bit fragile. There is a small rip in the back and the two bottom latches for the bottons on the front have been ripped off. Luckily these things are hidden by my skirt. The damages might only get worse, but I don't know how I can ever part with this blouse.

Today is an exciting one. I've had a few gals volunteer to indulge me in a photo shoot idea I've had after recently building that blanket fort in my last post. I am now convinced that the use of props creates more interesting photographs, and it makes the models' job loads easier. And boy, will there be lots of props for this shoot!

P.S. This entry was written earlier today, before my internet decided to be lame for a couple of hours. I just got back from the shoot, and will be editing the photos tonight!
xo.

  1. oh I love that skirt, I'm so jealous of it, it's so remixable and fun and bright and chic. I seriously love it with the red and white striped tee, but it looks great with all of the above blouses.

I hope you share the shoot with us and post some photos!
