Gwen's Third Birthday

Gwen's third birthday was almost 5 months ago! She's obsessed with Nemo and Dory, so I did an underwater themed party. I knew that I wanted to go all out for this little party, and I'm glad that I spent the time to make decorations and a cute cake. I think Gwen really appreciated it? :) I'd like to thank Pinterest for all the party ideas, of course. We didn't have our house at the time, so my sister-in-law let us borrow her beautiful house for the party.

We kept the activities simple- just a kiddie pool in the backyard. It was a huge hit. Gwen was the first and last kid in the water. There's not much else to do at your party when you're a September baby in Arizona- it's still summer! Although, the weather on this day wasn't terribly miserable. We lucked out.
Look at how small Fox was! Not yet walking.

This series of pictures are too cute to me. She looks considerably younger, here!

I'm bummed that Ryan nor I are in any of these pictures! It's kinda hard to host and be the photographer at the same time. I hope to invest in a professional photographer for maybe her 5th birthday? I've been thinking about how often I want to have big birthday parties for my kids, and I think ages 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12/13(?), and 16 are good ages to do that, right?

Fox at 6 Months

Yeah, I'm posting these photos 6 months late. I've got a lot of catching up to do before I post about Christmas and Fox's birthday.  I wish I could remember what all of his milestones were at this age, but it was too long ago! I can tell you that he was obsessed with crawling, so these photos on my bed were pretty tricky to take. I also recorded some video of him crawling and Gwen interfering during the little photo shoot, but I'll have to get my hands on some video editing software before I can do anything with any of the videos I've taken since then.
p.s. Fox's shirt says "Rad Bro". It kinda looks like "Dad Bro" in some of these pictures, haha.
