How We Wore It: Summer Workout

Hey! I'm joining a bunch of other lovely lady bloggers in "How We Wore It." Here's the photo that we all took inspiration from-

Workout clothes! Yup. I was pretty consistent with working out before I got pregnant again. Isn't that always the way? The last two months I've felt like death. The first trimester was full of nausea, I thought it would never end. I still get nauseous, but no where near to the extent as the first trimester. I'm currently 15 weeks... I think? The rumors are true: you don't pay as much attention to the second pregnancy as you do with the first. I'll have to apologize to this kid when they see Gwen's baby book or my old weekly bumpdate blog posts from my pregnancy with Gwen.

Onto the outfit I suppose-
Well I guess there's nothing too exciting about it, honestly.
I do have a question for anyone who has been on the hunt for a good sports bra: WHERE DO I GET A GOOD SPORTS BRA? I tried one on at Victoria's Secret the last time I went bra shopping and it was awesome, but I'm not sure how I felt about the padding? I just have a few cheap-o sports bras from Target and Walmart, and they do not pass the jumping/running test.

I'm on the hunt for some moderately easy workouts for pregnant gals like myself. Does anyone have suggestions? Links to YouTube videos I can check out? I want to get into prenatal yoga again.

  1. Congrats on being preggo! Super cute t shirt! I am a huge Harry Potter fan! Macys has good maternity clothes and I got a few of my leggings from there when I was preggo with my girls!

  14. Yeah, I'll probably be so excited about the good sports bra that I find that I'll have to make a little blog post about it, haha!

  15. Thanks! I don't know if I would've worn my hair this way if I took photos outside, haha. I almost wore my hair like this to a water park, but then one of the elastics broke!

  16. First - you're adorable! Next, where did you get your rug? Now to pregnancy workouts...I really enjoy Barre Amped and Slim & Toned Prenatal by Suzanne Bowen. And VS sports bras have changed my life! The ability to latch them rather than wiggle in and out of them makes sports bras so much better. They have several sifferwbt styles but I love that they actually sell them by bra size. Makes so much sense!

  17. I wish I could offer workout ideas but I was horrible about working out while pregnant. I did love going on walks though! Your bump is so cute!

  18. Sports bras!! I love under armour ones, and I usually just buy them online. If you want to actually try on in store, your best bet is gonna be either a sporting goods store, or a store like marshalls/TJmax/ross.

  19. Working out while pregnant is thee hardest! You are so beautiful, by the way, and the cutest bump ever! I actually really love the ones from target, but only one brand. I think its champion. But I think it just depends on your sizing! Prenatal yoga is the way to go!!!
