Santa Fe

Once we arrived in Santa Fe we decided to eat lunch. We ate at an African/Caribbean inspired restaurant. I had a jerk tofu sandwich on pita with cumin fries.

One "young coconut."

Those sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating.

We went exploring after that.

Ryan says he liked visiting this old church the best.

We also went to a Contemporary Native American Art Museum, but they didn't allow photography. I wish they had, it was pretty cool.

On our way back, we stopped in Albuquerque to eat at Standard Diner.

Swordfish tacos and cous cous.

I was pretty bad at capturing more faces than food during this trip. I would have taken more photos of people if the concert hadn't been cancelled. Oh well :/

Despite the cancelation, I'd say this was a fun trip. There were plenty of laughs on the car ride up, and everyone had that Hug Every Cat song in their heads, and hybrids of that song and Somebody that I Used To Know were somehow formed. I blame Ryan.

Plus, the day after the concert, we went to Forever 21. How I've missed that store. I'll try to post outfit pictures soon with the couple of things I bought from there.

Toodle-do!

  2. Jambo is out of control awesome, probably one of our favorites. Sometimes we drive all the way up to Santa Fe just to eat there. I like the cinnamon plantains with pineapple curry.
