The similarities between hamburgers and prayers~

I got my new church calling (church assignment) last Sunday. As predicted, I now serve in the Primary. I don't have a specific placement just yet, but I was in charge of "sharing time" today. I think I was a lot more intimidated by the kids before I actually gave the lesson. I mean, it was cake! I like that you don't really have to go in depth with church lessons when it comes to little kids. And I love their willingness to participate!

I gave a lesson about prayer. I actually found this idea for a "prayer sandwich" online, so don't give me all the credit. I decided to make it into a hamburger (or veggie burger!). It was a lot of fun drawing all the different hamburger fixin's that represent all the things we can pray for and thank Heavenly Father for.
Bring it on, Primary.

  1. I LOVE this top and you look gorgeous! I love the hair and the lipstick! That looks like a fun lesson, I could maybe deal with teaching if it was that easy ;)

  2. So cute!! Love the shoes.
