Just Remembering

We had to clean out the closet yesterday because we were getting our heater activated and the connection thingy is in the closet. Or something. ANYWAY. We had to tidy it up a bit and I took out my wedding dress which was at the very back of the closet. It was lying on the bed when I decided to take photos of it. I don't have any super sentimental stories about how my wedding was the greatest day of my life or anything (Yes, the temple sealing was awesome, don't get me wrong. Not to mention the dancey dance party we had afterwards), and this certainly wasn't my "dream dress," but it sure is beautiful.

My mom got it off of eBay and it originally had all these little white beads woven into the lace.
I would not have that.
It was altered and seam ripped and voila.

I'm not really sure where this is going. Seeing this dress just made me realize that I will be married for two years come January, and it made me think of how far Ryan and I have come. It also makes me think of other important life decisions that have been creeping up on me recently.

In conclusion (what is this, a high school paper?), I am thankful to be married to such a silly sweetheart. I've learned to count my blessings as we struggle with school and finances together. I haven't been married very long and I know that this time of our lives is short. Which honestly makes me thankful, because I dream of owning a house and a good car and decent furniture, haha. Not to mention babies.  I'd like to own a few of those.
