Gwen and I

I am head over heels for these photos. I'm so glad I decided to get them done. Photos are pretty amazing in general, no? We're able to see how we used to look, how young we were, how weird we were, our fashion tastes, hairstyles and whatnot. I know I'll be glad to look at these once Gwen has grown and remember her littleness. I can't thank Chrissy enough for capturing these moments.

My sister-in-law is coming to visit this weekend, as well as a couple of my friends. They're all in town for the same wedding!

We are having a Bradley class reunion this weekend! We'll get to see all the babies and hear everyone's birth stories! Yes, I'm planning on taking photos.

One Half of a Year

Gwennie girl is 6 months old. Holy smokes.
We have been giving her tastes of food here and there, but she's still nursing like a champ. I want to feed her more solids, but I don't want her to get an upset stomach or the runs. We'll get there... slowly. She loves grabbing anything from my hands and puts everything into her mouth now. Sitting up on her own is still a challenge. We are trying to teach her to wave. I have finally got a hold of the whole bedtime thing (for now). She usually sleeps at 7 or 8pm each night which gives us a few hours of "freedom" before heading to bed ourselves. I'm not sure why I didn't try putting her to sleep this early months ago. #newmomnaivety
I didn't take any photos with my DSLR for this month because I booked a photo shoot for this Tuesday! I'm pretty excited to have Chrissy as our photographer.

The Ivie Family

I'm proud to say that I'm the first photographer to take the Ivie's first official family photos! We bonded with this family when we first moved into our current ward 9 months ago. They moved to Arizona maybe a week or two before us for the same reason- job relocation- to the same job!

Papago Park

Last weekend Ryan accompanied me to a photo shoot with our friends. We had originally planned to take their photos at a different park, but after checking the weather our plans were foiled by wind and rain. Enter Papago park. What a great photo location! There are still so many photo spots for me to discover here in Arizona. I'd like to come back here to do some hiking.
