Shop My Closet

Ok! So I've been thinking of doing this for a while, but I wasn't sure how successful I'd be at selling my clothing online. I downloaded the Poshmark app and listed some items. It's all super cheap! Here are some of the items in my Poshmark closet: (Keep in mind that I'm 5'1", so some of these skirts/dresses may not be as long as they seem)

red floral dress $6
pink tweed dress $15
cream vintage blouse $5
gray vintage skirt $5
red skirt $6
blush lace skirt $10
coral skirt $5

And a couple of things I'm planning to add to the closet:
this skirt
this eyelet shirt

I'm obviously new to this, so I'm still not sure if poshmark is the best option to sell(??) It seems like the bloggers with 1,000+ followers do really well when they sell their clothes on instagram, so I doubt that I'll have any luck there. Maybe I should create a separate "shop my closet" blog? Have you done this before? Any success? All suggestions are welcome! If I don't sell anything before we move in May/June then I plan to donate all these clothes.

  1. You should! Or at least a separate page. Can I legitimately buy the red floral dress and pink tweed dress? I think my paypal is brown_eyed_girl_73@hotmail.com

  5. Sweet! Go you opening a shop! I finally started selling my stuff as well but so far not much success haha. Good luck! And thanks for your comment :) You should totally try the dark lip! At least a darker red for a nighttime look. But it was definitely fun to try a new colour! Who knows, maybe he'll like it! I find that if you wear a dark lip, to try to be more feminine or chic with your style so that it doesn't come off too gothic/vampy looking.

Ps. We're the same height! That's nice to know I'm not the only shorty :)
