I finally figured out a better arrangement to take videos- instead of putting my camera on the tripod (where Gwen can knock it over) I put it on top of my dresser. Voila! No camera mishaps.
I didn't talk about all the things I wanted to because I either forgot or didn't have time to go into all the details, so if you have any specific questions about my labor or attachment parenting, leave a comment. If I get a lot of them, I may make a follow up video.
THIS AWESOME VIDEO embodies a lot of what I believe regarding natural birth. Watch it! Watch it!

Natural birth for the win!!! I am so glad that I was able to have a completely natural birth. It's something I always wanted to do, but I always assumed that I had a low threshold for pain. But apparently I've got quick a high tolerance :) To be honest I wish I had prepared more, and followed your tips. I really didn't do anything to prepare my boy or mind for labour. Luckily there will be more babies so I can try them :) Loved this video!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you did natural birth without much preparation! And I definitely think that most women are built for labor. We are so strong, it's amazing.
DeleteNATURAL BIRTH FTW! You're so awesome! I tried so hard to do a natural birth but I could just not get past my back labor. So I made it all the way to transition and then I was done haha! I just really wanted to be present, you know? And at that point I couldn't do it. But thank you for this video!
ReplyDeleteI remember reading your birth story! Back labor seems really hard. You did your very best and succeeded!
DeleteYou are a super woman for going natural. I'm a wimp when it comes to pain so I was like "Give me the drugs!"
ReplyDeleteI was honestly so amazed after I read your birth story. Natural birth seems like such a cool experience. If and when I decide to have kids I'm definitely going to look into natural birth! Also what a unique 'how to' video!
