It has been a secret wish of mine to own a leather/faux leather jacket. It's an item that I wouldn't have bought for myself, because most of the time I think "I'm not cool enough." But I guess H&M thinks I'm definitely cool enough for sending this jacket my way! So thanks for fulfilling my secret wish, H&M.

The similarities between hamburgers and prayers~

I got my new church calling (church assignment) last Sunday. As predicted, I now serve in the Primary. I don't have a specific placement just yet, but I was in charge of "sharing time" today. I think I was a lot more intimidated by the kids before I actually gave the lesson. I mean, it was cake! I like that you don't really have to go in depth with church lessons when it comes to little kids. And I love their willingness to participate! 

I gave a lesson about prayer. I actually found this idea for a "prayer sandwich" online, so don't give me all the credit. I decided to make it into a hamburger (or veggie burger!). It was a lot of fun drawing all the different hamburger fixin's that represent all the things we can pray for and thank Heavenly Father for.

Friday Friend-zy

It seems like it's been FOREVER since I've posted a Friday Friendzy! I guess it has been so long that Anne and I even forgot to take photos of the both of us together! We're definitely out of practice! And to top it all off, I had to give Emilio his 50mm lens back. I have actually had it all summer, so I got used to using it. My photos don't turn out as well without it! I absolutely need to save up for my own!
