Jessi

I am so excited to share these photos with all of you! Jessi has been one of my blogging friends for a long time now, and it has been fun to watch how her blog has expanded and grown since I first started following her! I would look at her photos and want to photograph her, because hello, she's gorgeous. So when I found out I'd be in Utah for a couple of days I contacted her immediately! Jessi was going to a Gatsby themed party the night we took these photos, so I suggested that I would take her photos in her 1920s themed outfit. I think my favorite part of this outfit is the jewelry. The necklaces are perfect.
I had so much fun taking these photos and I'm really glad that we could meet, even if it was only for a couple of hours. She is so sweet, even when we got lost driving around while trying to find the blue house. Until next time, Jessi!

Utah

Since this was such a short trip, I didn't take too many photos. My sister-in-law, Audrey, and I drove all day Friday and made it into town at 1:00 am. When we arrived at my brother-in-law's we stayed up for another couple of hours talking, so I didn't make it into bed until about 3:30am. And once I laid down my mind was overflowing with thoughts about the conversations we had in the car. I feel like road trip conversations can reveal a lot about a person. We were driving for over 26 hours (to and from Utah) so we had a lot of time to share stories and past experiences. I'm really glad that I got to spend that time with Audrey and that we learned a lot more about each other on a personal level.

Friday night (/early Saturday morning) I did not sleep a wink. It may have been from my overactive mind, or thinking about the deer we saw getting hit by a car in Colorado, or just discomfort from the air mattress. Regardless, I decided to just quit trying to fall asleep since I knew I'd have to get up early anyway. That makes sense, right?
I went to a flea market with my other sister-in-law, Brekke, on Saturday morning. I've never been to one before and there were so many cute antiques. I bought two vintage dresses for $20 and I'm really excited to blog about them!
I hung out with my rambunctious niece and nephew.
And I got to meet a couple of my blogger friends! Emily and Jessi.
Jessi and I actually had a photo shoot on Saturday in the same location that Emily took her engagement photos. So cute. You can look forward to those tomorrow after I edit them!

And I can't believe I did all that on literally no sleep. Thankfully I slept like a log on Saturday night, and I slept in until 1:00pm today. I still feel a little tired but Ryan and I have plans with friends tonight that I'm pretty excited about.

Happy Monday :)

Anne Q

Here are some of my favorite photos I took of Anne the other day.
Teal and red are one of my favorite color combos of all time, so I love how these photos turned out! Plus, it has a patriotic feel to it, which always screams "Summer!" to me.
I'll be back with photos from my Utah trip on Monday!

Friday Friend-zy

I am on my way to Utah! The land of Mormons. Hopefully it won't be as weird as everyone says it is ;)
But here's a little Friday Friendzy post for ya~
This is Anne's ukulele but she's letting me borrow it because I've been dying to learn. I'm excited to get started!

Green

I've done tons of photo shoots at this little park, but I never thought to take my own pictures there until now. It was such a chill experience, let me tell you. Usually when taking outfit photos I'm turning my head every way to see if anyone happens to notice me being weird and taking countless photos of myself. Luckily this park is almost always empty, so I had a nice and peaceful time just doing my thang.
I have some fun news! I'll be visiting Utah this weekend! I'm going up for a REALLY quick trip with my sister-in-law while she attends a wedding there. I'm already planning on meeting a couple of my blogger friends, and I am SOOO excited. Not only have I literally never been to Utah, but I've never met any of my blogging friends either. So yay! I'm nervous and excited.
