Bumpdate: Week 15

I know, it's still not much of a bump.

How far along are you? 15 weeks
Total weight gain: I'm not really keeping track. I'll let you know after my next doctor appointment.
Maternity Clothes? No. I'm in that awkward stage where my mid-section is growing, but I still don't look quite that pregnant. I've just been feeling real chubby lately. Baby is the size of an avocado.
Stretch Marks? no
Sleep: It's getting weird. But I can still sleep on my belly, and I'm going to enjoy that while I still can.
Best moments: Eating snacks during sacrament meeting and (hopefully) not being judged for it.
Missing anything? Comfy jeans. I'm not big enough for maternity pants and I don't want to buy new pants that I'll only wear for a little while until I do fit in maternity ones. Ugh.
Movement? no
Food Cravings: Lots of things; if someone mentions a certain food or if I'm watching a show where they're eating something that looks good, or if I see photos of different foods on pinterest... No wonder I'm feeling chubby.
Symptoms: Funny dreams- I dreamt the baby was a girl, but I wasn't married and I was a single mom. The baby was basically a genius and was reading by 2 months old. And she also had super strength and lifted a two story house. I remember telling her to put it back, explaining that the owners will miss their house.
Belly Button in or Out? in
Happy or Moody? Well I cried about "having nothing to wear" last weekend, so you tell me.
Looking Forward to: Depositing my first paycheck. MAKE IT RAIN.

Little Ceci

There are so many little babies in my life right now- Holly's baby, Anne's baby, and we have a new nephew in Utah- and I love it. Plus, a handful of facebook friends announced their pregnancies recently. Whoa. I took these photos of Ceci last week. Gosh she's adorable (it's because she looks like Anne).
Literally perfect family.
See more photos from this session on my website!

Bumpdate: 14 Weeks

(ugh, these photos are blurry *tripod issues*)

I've seen a couple of bloggers doing this weekly "bumpdate," so I've decided to join in. As you can see I don't have much of a bump yet, but whatever.

How far along are you? A little over 14 weeks. Beginning of the second trimester :)
Total weight gain: uh.... Maybe 4-5 pounds.
Maternity Clothes? I bought my first maternity dress last week, but for now I'm sticking with leggings, skirts, and roomy shirts. I can still wear my jeans with that rubber band trick.
Stretch Marks? Not on my belly... Let's just say I bought a couple of new bras last week.
Sleep: good!
Best moments: Being able to announce the pregnancy and receiving so much excitement from others! Although, I miss it a little when it was our little secret- when no one gave me weird advice or told me their pregnancy horror stories. Also, seeing the baby move during the sonogram. He/she is the size of a navel orange.
Missing anything? Dr. Pepper, sometimes. And fitting into some of my favorite tees/dresses.
Movement? Not yet.
Food Cravings: Bean burritos! And fast food. I never feel like cooking anymore.
Symptoms: I have less nausea! But I got pretty light-headed yesterday at work. I think I was dehydrated. I'm making sure to drink tons of water.
Belly Button in or Out? In!
Happy or Moody? A little moody, but I've always been sensitive towards certain things, so it's hard  to tell.
Looking Forward to: Going to my father-in-law's birthday tonight. It's not really pregnancy related, but there's gonna be pizza.

That's right! I got a job this week! I'm working at a portrait studio until we move in June. The boss already knows I'll be leaving in a few months, but they only need someone temporarily. It's super ideal, really. I'm so happy to be working again and I feel like everything is falling into place. #blessed

A Baby!?

Oh, so that's why I've taken such a long blog hiatus. I now understand why most gals take a step back from blogging in their first trimester. Oh the nausea! And more importantly, oh the laziness. And lack of motivation....
Whenever I would find out that one of my favorite bloggers was pregnant I would get a little bummed out. I mean, of course I was happy for them, but I knew that it meant that they would never blog again or that their blog would completely change. This way of thinking has completely flip-flopped for me: I am now super interested in "mommy-blogs"/"pregnancy" blogs. Because duh. ("We're All in This Together" plays in the background.) So, I guess I apologize in advance for talking about nothing but being pregnant on here. But hey, I really enjoy reading from other preggo bloggers, so maybe there are some of you out there in the same boat as me.
See the baby's profile?

Aside from all that, we are very excited! I feel that this baby has come at the perfect time. So thank you, heaven and science.

I love food

I discovered this artist on tumblr.
If you don't have a tumblr, you're doing it wrong.
