Some More Vintage

Here's what I wore on Sunday.

The golds and greens of this dress make me smile.
Yup.
I don't really know what else to say...

Life has gotten pretty busy. We're at that time when it's getting closer and closer to midterms, although it doesn't seems like it. I'm trying to save up some dough to make a trip to Utah this summer. I've never been, can you believe it? If you're a fellow mormon, then you can't. It will be nice, going up there, seeing my brother in law and the new baby, an online friend, and possibly shooting a wedding? We'll see.
Wish me luck as I struggle to save and shop less <3

Balloon Bouquet

I've forgotten about this dress. It's short, so I wear it as a blouse. I've gotta unearth more of the clothes that have been hiding in my closet.

And this sweater? Balloons?
I died right there in that antique shop.

Anyway, this is a speedy post... I'm late for class.
Have a great Thursday!

A Floral Dress

I was very excited to find this dress at the antique shop we went to in Las Vegas, NM. There are a couple of other items I bought that I'll try to wear this week. I got into trouble at that vintage shop... I've promised myself that I won't spend money on clothes for at least three weeks because of it. Eeks.

Printmaking Conference

Been a little MIA considering this blog. I forgot to mention that I was going on a class trip to Las Vegas, New Mexico this past weekend. It's a small town north of Albuquerque that has no resemblance to Las Vegas, Nevada. Anyway, I learned a lot this weekend, and it really opened my eyes to everything that printmaking has to offer.

Here we all are! We were able to stay at some dorms on the New Mexico Highlands University campus.

We went to one of the printmaking teacher's house for a potluck and I looked at all his funny knick-knacks.

I spy with my little eye.... a Book of Mormon. I didn't notice it there until after I took the photo. I didn't ask if he was a member... I think it would have been weird.
Angry lamb.

New, thrifted dress :)

Some Cows.

My teacher.

This print matched my outfit :)

I love the colors.

Santana and Anne.

We went to a hot spring. It was my first time.

It was a great trip and I made new friends, but I'm pretty glad to be home. I missed the husband.
There are a few more photos of an antique shop we visited, but I'll post those later.
